Growing up as a young girl, I always found myself drawing floorplan layouts and sketching renderings of homes in my down time, always trying to see how things fit together – I loved puzzles! Creativity was innate in me from early on as I would watch my Dad create intricate masterpieces as he painted and enjoyed the process it took to accomplish the completed product. As I grew up, I realized even more that I had a great passion for the Arts and followed in that direction through college.

Jeremy and I met at college, and after marrying, we knew that one day we would open our own business within the housing design industry. We quickly started on our journey to learn all the ins and outs of running a company, along with all the various aspects in which a house becomes a home – through real estate, mortgage lending, construction, and modern design home plans. Over the next 10 years, we began our little family with our four children – who are our whole world – and worked closely together to gain all the expertise that would develop into Boxwood Home today. In 2010 is when my knowledge in the design industry began to form into a career, and we began designing spaces (and learning a lot along the way!). With our combined 30+ years in the home building and design industries, we want our clients to have an easy, enjoyable and stress-free process – it doesn’t have to be hard! We set out to change the mindset of just “building a home” to “creating a home” through our seamless design-build process – also known as an affordable interior designer. As a full-service design firm, we can assist in the finished design of a new home, a renovation or a basement finish and facilitate the design of all your furnishings for your home.
